We were looking for something pretty that would give us privacy in our bathroom. We needed to cover 2 large windows. We followed the directions exactly and the film went on easily. You have to get right up on top of the window to be sure it is not real stain glass. We have total privacy during the day. At night when the lights are on you can see shadows so we pull the curtains. The only time we have noticed a plastic odor is when it has been 90+ degrees out and the sun is shining directly on the window. It has been a couple of months now and we have not noticed the odor...so it does go away eventually. We have had great compliments on our new window look. Very happy we purchased this!

I bought 5 of this product. It doesn't smell too bad (you can smell whiff of it when you walk by it, but that's about it), it goes up easily (I used Windex & squeegee), it lets in sunlight, gives you total privacy, and looks alright(I'm an art major, so I'm picky about appearances of things. I wouldn't call it particularly beautiful, but it's not atrociously ugly. It's alright.) My only qualm is that it's too expensive. But I'm buying 5 more nevertheless.
BTW, use a ruler and knife when cutting. I just eyeballed my first window and used scissors and the edges look not so good. I came to my senses from the second one and started using the ruler & utility knife and the edges are now fine.

I placed the window film over a kitchen window that was facing a wall. It's beautiful and adds life to the room. Only downside that I've noticed is that the flowers aren't quite as pink as the pictures...more like pale orange. But overall, i'm happy with the purchase.

i've used window film before, so i had high expectations going in. the picture is pretty, but the film itself is just printed with the photo of stained glass. there is no texture to add realism as with the clematis/water lily print and the frank loyd wright-esque film. it does let light filter through and is very simple to put up, it just looks much cheaper and less like stained glass than the films that have the variation and texture.

This product went on easily, looks great from the inside, but dont expect
a great view from the outside as it is hardly visible.
