I ordered this grate to replace my previous grate which had melted through after years of use. The new grate fits just right and keeps the firewood in place nicely. Also this grate has the added benefit of being slightly higher up leaving more room for air underneath. This creates the opportunity for better flames. I'm very happy with it.

The grate started to bend and warp after the first fire. After the fourth fire it was garbage.

We purchased this grate to replace the one that came with our fireplace insert. It isn't exactly the same size, but it fits and we are happy with it. In fact, my husband said this is what this fireplace should have had from the beginning. We love the space it gives below the grate for the coals to accumulate and that it has five bars instead of three like our old one. As far as purchasing from this seller is concerned, our experience was wonderful. The item shipped promptly and arrived sooner than we expected. Overall we are extremely pleased with the purchase.
